Financial statement analysis, earnings interpretation, and sector comparison. We work through real company filings from listed European firms. Valuation multiples and their limitations are covered in depth.

Module 3: Fixed Income and Portfolio Context
Government and corporate bonds, credit ratings, duration risk, and how fixed-income instruments fit into a broader portfolio alongside higher-risk assets like startup equity.

Module 4: Startup Investment Mechanics
How early-stage financing rounds work, from pre-seed through Series B. Cap table construction, dilution modelling, and the practical implications of convertible notes and SAFE agreements.

Module 5: Due Diligence Frameworks
Evaluating a startup against market data. Competitive landscape analysis, founder assessment criteria, and how public market trends inform private investment thesis development.
